An avid reader, I have finished every book I have picked up in my adult life, except one. I can't recall the name (contact me if you know!), but it was very old and billed itself as "the first science fiction book".

It involved a man building a concrete spaceship and casually brewing tea in his concrete living room in his concrete spaceship on his way to Mars... Eventually, I gave up...

Written in 2009, Concrete Spaceship (and Silent U) would become the next phase in my songwriting career.
