The Escalator

What happens when someone breaks up with you, but you're really not all that sad about the situation? You write a song of course...

Writing The Escalator and knowing I was going to be ok, opened me up to some great happiness that came my way shortly afterwards.

And, true story - I have fallen up a downward escalator trying to make a connection in the Montreal Metro system while late for work.

Take my advice, if you are going to run up a downward escalator, watch out for that 2nd step - that's the one that will get ya! ;)
